Install the battery if not already installed.
Move the control knob to CLEAR and flip the switch to the ON position and then back OFF to insure any previous settings have been canceled.
1. Turn the control knob to the number on the panel that represents the present time of day.
2. Turn the switch to the ON position. The unit will run for a half second; after a five second delay, it will run for another half second. Turn the switch OFF.
3. Move the control knob to the RUN position. The timer is now set for the time of day. It will not need to be reset unless the battery is disconnected. You may disconnect the battery for as much as five minutes without having to reset the time. This makes it possible to change batteries without having to reset. If you need to reset the time of day, repeat the above.)
To set the feed time or times, do the following for each time you want to set:
1. Move the control knob to the time you want to feed.
2. Turn the switch ON. The unit will for a half second. Turn the switch OFF.
3. Move the control knob to the RUN position.
4. Repeat these steps for each time you want to set for feeding. (Feed times can be set for any of the times shown on the timer panel.)
5. If you forget what times you have set for feeding, rotate the control knob through the 8 different feed times and the motor will fun for a half second at each feed time that has been selected. After you have checked the feed times, rotate the control knob the RUN position.
1. Move the control knob to the CLEAR position.
2. Turn the switch ON and OFF. (This will erase all previously set feed times.)
3. Set the new feed times following instructions in B.
1. Move the control knob to the SPIN position.
2. Turn the switch ON.
3. The unit will begin spinning and will spin as long as the switch is ON.
4. When you have determined the amount of feed to be dispensed, shut the switch OFF. (The unit will dispense the amount of feed that you have set at each feeding time that was set in B. The amount of feed dispensed for each second the unit is spinning will vary according to the kind of feed. {Cubes approximately seven pounds per second.} You will need to determine that amount by trial.)
5. Move the control knob to RUN.
6. To change the amount of feed to be dispensed, repeat C and D in that order.
1. Leave the control knob in the RUN position.
2. Turn the switch On.
3. After a five second pause, it will throw feed for the amount of time the feeder is set to run.
4. Turn the switch OFF.
1. Move the control knob to the CLEAR position and flip the Switch ON and the OFF.
2. Move the control knob to the RUN position.
